Areas of intervention

The sectors of intervention of the “FKW” Fund are:
– agro-sylvo-pastoral activities;
– crafts;
– processing of local products;
– provision of services;
– trade;
– transportation ;
– buildings and public works.
In addition to these sectors of activity, the FKW Fund provides support to students and/or professionals who have passed an admission test to major inter-African schools.

Forms of intervention

The “FKW” Fund offers four types of financing:

Direct financing: It finances projects according to the conditions of the Fund with several products available such as loans for young professionals, revealed talents, successful women, community solidarity, young entrepreneurs, youth entrepreneurship, informal economy, entrepreneurship of the disabled and return of the diaspora.

Pre-financing of markets: It provides part of the funds necessary to carry out a private or public market.

Co-financing: This is a partnership between the “FKW” Fund and another structure to jointly finance a project of interest.

Financing of studies and professional training: It offers a loan for preparation for inter-African professions for students and professionals admitted to major schools.

Intervention limits

The credits granted by the “FKW” Fund are set as follows:
– minimum amount: 200,000 FCFA;
– ceiling amount: 30,000,000 FCFA. The amounts granted are determined following study of the file by the authorized body. However, credit granting authorities are authorized to grant credits of less than two hundred thousand (200,000) FCFA, if necessary.

Loan granting conditions

To access credit from the “FKW” Fund, a natural person of Burkinabe nationality or a legal entity under Burkinabe law must:

  • Present a viable project in the areas of activity of the “FKW” Fund.
  • Be aged 15 to 64.
  • Enjoy your moral and civic abilities.
  • Have a personal contribution of 10% to 30% of the total cost of the project.
  • Have solid guarantees whose value is estimated at at least 100% of the amount requested.
  • Present a water bill and a description of the geographical location of the activity site, if applicable.
  • Agree to formalize requests reaching 5,000,000 FCFA.
  • Participate in training sessions offered by the “FKW” Fund.
  • Accept monitoring and advisory support from the “FKW” Fund.
  • Do not have current credit with other financing institutions.
  • Submit a letter of admission to major inter-African schools for students.
